Foundation Executive Director Begins Retirement

The Greene County Foundation staff recently hosted an open house celebration honoring the achievements of Foundation Executive Director Cam Trampke as she begins her retirement.

Cam has been involved with the Foundation since its inception in 1997 and has served as Executive Director since 2010.  Under Cam’s leadership, the Foundation has grown from having an asset base of $3.8 million to its current assets of over $8.5 million.  Over 50 grants and scholarships are now paid out annually, totaling over $300,000 each year.  Her achievements will serve to benefit Greene County now and forever.

“Leading the Foundation has been the highlight of my career in public service,” Cam says.  “The opportunity to meet and know so many wonderful caring people has been a blessing.  I give special appreciation to my staff and board, and most of all the donors who have trusted us with their legacy.  As they say, retirement is a beginning, not an ending… we’ll see what comes next.  My thanks to everyone!”

The staff and board of the Foundation are grateful for Cam’s unwavering commitment and congratulate her for her achievements – we wish her all the best!
